The Shackles of Strawberry Strudel Shame

Let's say you really loved something. Something bad for you. For the sake of this story let's call it "Strawberry Strudel". And let's say you were avoiding Strawberry Strudel. Not answering any calls as it were, not hanging out. In fact you were shunning Strawberry Strudel because you know what Strawberry Strudel does to you and you don't want that for yourself. Then let's say Strawberry Strudel shows up at your job yesterday and every time you get something from your box you see Strawberry Strudel. And you miss Strawberry Strudel. But you hold fast and eschew Strawberry Strudel with a firm hand. And you're proud of yourself. Then let's say you come to work today and there Strawberry Strudel is, just sitting there in the back of the office, practically taunting you with Strawberry Strudel-ness. Suppose all this happens. Could you really blame a person for succumbing to the Strawberry Strudel? Wouldn't said person stand blameless for having say six Strawberry Strudel bites? Or is that person then shackled with Strawberry Strudel shame?

sometimes it's better to indulge than to try and purge yourself of something you love, such as some strudel. btw, how could a person resist? i mean, it's strudel, just the word is mouthwatering.
